And I don't think I ever will buy it... at least not until it goes on deep clearance.

If the film wasn't enough, the special features are pretty damn disappointing and lackluster, too. The misnamed "promo" isn't anything that you haven't see on the Internet or TV. The 3 deleted scenes barely add up to about one minute and thirty seconds, if I remember correctly, and the "extended version" adds a whopping 2 minutes to the theatrical version. (Wasn't this part supposed to be 14-16 minutes or so?) I really wanted to see the Razorback Point prologue in its entirety. [img]frown.gif[/img]

Neither of these contain any exciting or worthwhile footage. And I only watched a little of the film with commentary. What I heard was average. Nothing exciting, but nothing compared to John McTiernan's commentary on the Predator SE DVD:

"Uh.... yeah. So we just went down to, um, Central America and... shot."

I love McTiernan, but he's horrible at commentary. Pretty damn sad when Paul Anderson beats you in that area.

And who gives a **** about a Super Bowl ad on an Alien and Predator movie DVD? Not I...

And I'll probably get into American Dad, but that ad is SO out of place as well... regardless if it is FOX.

The DVD has extra features, yes, but they some of the laziest I've ever seen.

I didn't hate everything about the movie, however. You'll have to look into the bowels of the board for those details. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
